The Gund at Kenyon College welcomes creative writers across genres to visit the art museum from 6 - 7 p.m. for an Ekphrastic Writing Workshop. Whether you’re a poet or a playwright, a memoirist or genre fiction writer, this workshop is a great opportunity to stretch your imagination with prompts responding to and expanding on works of art in the exhibition The Visionary Art of Minnie Evans and the powerful story quote by Faith Ringgold, Dancing at the Louvre (the French Collection, Part I: #1) (1991) and the NEA Big Read Theme, “Where We Live.” Led by Associates from The Gund and The Kenyon Review, this workshop is sure to inspire! All are welcome. Materials and supplies provided.
