Zygote Artist Tahm Lytle will facilitate a Holiday Card block printing workshop for the Annex community. Create your own linocut block printed holiday cards in this free, beginner friendly workshop! We will go over the design process for block print, how to transfer images, basic carving and inking techniques, and how to hand-print on paper. Participants will then create their own cards using 8.5 x 11in cardstock paper folded in half. Bring an idea, reference picture, or a drawing, and wear clothes you wouldn’t mind getting ink on.Participants will walk away with a completed block and multiple prints and/or patches.
